My Medicare Services

From your first enrollment window to the yearly plan check, here is where I can lighten the load.

What I do for you

Help Shaped Around The Care You Already Have

Enrollment Timing

Know exactly when your window opens and closes.

Your first chance to sign up is tied to your birthday, and it shifts if you or a spouse still have coverage through work. I work out which window applies to you, and what happens if you let it pass.

  • Your first sign up window
  • Delays for workplace coverage
  • Late enrollment penalties
  • Special windows after a move

Plan Comparison

See both Medicare paths laid out together.

Original Medicare paired with a supplement policy behaves very differently from an Advantage plan. I line the two up against your doctors, the way you travel and what you can comfortably spend each month.

  • Doctor and hospital networks
  • Premiums and deductibles
  • Coverage away from home
  • Extras such as dental and vision

Prescription Review

Find the drug plan that treats your list best.

Each drug plan keeps its own list of covered medicines, and the same pill can cost very different amounts from one plan to the next. I run your whole list, dose by dose, against the plans offered where you live.

  • Covered drug lists
  • Price tier for each medicine
  • Preferred pharmacies
  • Mail order options

Yearly Plan Check

Spot the changes before they reach your wallet.

Plans can adjust their costs, networks and drug lists every fall. I read your notice of changes with you and flag anything that touches your care, so you can decide whether to stay put or switch.

  • Notice of changes review
  • Network updates
  • Drug list changes
  • Advice on staying or switching
The pieces of Medicare

Each Piece Of Medicare, Explained In Plain Words

Hospital Coverage

Covers inpatient stays, skilled nursing care after a hospital visit, hospice and some home health care. Most people pay no premium for it.

Medical Coverage

Covers doctor visits, outpatient care, lab work, screenings and medical equipment. It comes with a monthly premium and a yearly deductible.

Medicare Advantage

A private plan that bundles hospital and medical coverage, usually with drug coverage too, often inside a network of doctors.

Drug Coverage

Stand alone prescription plans that sit beside Original Medicare. Each one has its own drug list, pharmacy network and pricing tiers.

Supplement Policies

Private policies that help pay the deductibles and coinsurance Original Medicare leaves behind. They are standardized, so the same type buys the same benefits.

Extra Help Programs

State and federal programs that can lower premiums and drug costs for people with limited income. I check whether you may qualify.

No more guesswork

What To Have Handy When You Reach Out

A few details let me skip straight to the useful part. If something is missing, that is fine, and I can help you track it down.

  • The names of your doctors and specialists
  • Any hospital you would want to keep using
  • Each medicine you take along with its dose
  • The pharmacy you visit most often
  • Your Medicare card, once it has arrived
  • Any recent letter from your current plan

Questions About How My Services Work

Yes. Staying on workplace coverage changes the timing, and sometimes it makes sense to hold off on part of Medicare. I show you how your employer plan and Medicare fit together before you file anything.

Always. Before comparing anything new, I check how your current plan handles your doctors and medicines, because staying put is sometimes the smartest move.

Send me the new prescription. I check how your plan covers it and explain your options, such as a coverage exception or a lower cost alternative your doctor could consider.

Yes. I explain both paths without favoring either one, so you can judge which suits your health, your travel habits and your budget.

Of course. Plenty of people include a spouse or an adult child. I am happy to send the written summary to anyone you want in the loop.
